'Twas the night before Christmas,
And all through the screen,
HAL was being grinchy,
And the refs equally mean.
The fumbles were flying,
About through the air,
Georgia recovered all three,
All Erie could do was stare.
Thrice Erie picked off the

Twice they dropped it back on the ground,
For Georgia to recover all safe and sound.

Erie led by seven
As time ticked away,

Georgia fans began to pray.

Allen was shook,
He knew he was in trouble.
But what to his wondering eyes should appear?
Yet another flag, as Erie's grown to fear.
The drive it went on, the offense was fierce,
A long pass guessed right was hauled in by Pierce.
Just thirty ticks are all that remained
For Geno to get points and bring an end to the game.
The flats how he pounded, the receivers they ran,
Trying to get into range for Justin the man.
With one tick to go the Silence got close,
For the final play it was Tucker we chose.
He kicked through the ball and it sailed out of sight,
Through the uprights...making the Silence have a good night.
