GAMES OF THE WEEK

 Tucson 27,  Death Valley 24
Game Story
Alshon Jeffery had a huge game as the visitors from Tucson edged Death Valley by the score of 27 to 24. Jeffery embarrassed the Death Valley defense with 7 catches for 175 receiving yards scoring 2 times. Tony Romo threw 47 times for 381 yards with a touchdown. Tucson won the air battle out-passing Death Valley 480 to 306 yards. They had the advantage in time of possession, having the ball for 34:14. Tucson got out to an early lead outscoring Death Valley 10 to 0 in the first quarter. Death Valley was ahead at halftime 14 to 13. A bright spot for Death Valley was a touchdown pass to Jeremy Maclin that covered 53 yards with 5:06 left in the 4th quarter. But in the end that fine effort was wasted..

Game Story
In a tightly fought contest Woodbridge got past Bay by the score of 27 to 24. Woodbridge had 295 yards passing and 73 yards running for the game. Woodbridge had a good start outscoring Bay 14 to 0 in the first quarter. They took the lead into the locker room at the half 21 to 14. The game was tied after three quarters, 21 to 21. Matthew Stafford passed 30 times for 286 yards with a touchdown for Bay.
